During the peak of the ‘Supermoon’ in Amsterdam I slept through my alarm and missed the spectacle. To make up for it I woke up super early the next day and took a walk about around my neighborhood. More spectacular than the moon was the eerie silence, with the exception of a few cars driving by at 100km per hour in a 35km per hour street. The only other people I saw were a few essentials, the people working at the local supermarkets or delivering food. Of course we all know this by now, but if you are somebody that is not getting up early these days, I hope you will appreciate looking at my photos. Although I enjoy the silence, I do hope it will end soon.
