Summertime 2021 – Have a good one!

What are your plans for this summer? Speaking for myself, I will be taking a few day trips with friends within the Netherlands. Topping my list of things to see and do is to walk and cycle along the 127 km Dutch IJssel River, which I consider one of the most beautiful sites in The Netherlands.

Next to that, the IJssel Bienal is also taking place this summer, an international art route along the banks of the river – This year’s theme being: TIDE, TIME, and TEMPORALITY. For more information on this event, visit their site (Dutch language only) https://ijsselbiennale.nl/

If you happen to be in Amsterdam, my portrait studio is still open between my day trips, so feel free to book a session for yourself, your family, or a loved one. Recent portraits depict my 21-year-old son and his friends, a selection of which was shown at the above location during the exhibition – GenerationZ: What’s Next?

If you would like a beautiful portrait of your teenage or young adult child, right about now would be a good time to get in touch and have that picture made. Below are a few examples of the young people I have portrayed in the last year.
