Upcoming events fall 2021
If you missed it the first time, the exhibition ‘Generation Z – What’s Next?’ is opening for a second time!
- Who: Photography by Flora Madu, Linelle Deunk, and Adrienne Norman, commissioned by De Stad Verbeeldt.
- What: A group exhibition depicting young people between the ages of 15 to 24; the so-called Z generation.
- When: October 30 to November 28, 2021.
- Where: The former IJsselcentrale Harculo, IJsselcentraleweg 6, Zwolle.
At the same time, the work of the Zilveren Camera 2020 prize winners is on display, a selection of some of the best journalistic and documentary images made by photographers living and working in The Netherlands. For an intense period of nine weeks, I followed my son Jim shortly after leaving home to live in a flat with his friends. At the same time, I made a series of self-portraits reflecting on how it was for me as a parent when a child leaves home.
